考古学資料分析法（2）
Methodology of Archaeological Analysis
５セメスターに引き続き、実際の遺跡発掘調査による資料の整理と分析作業を通して、考古学における遺跡調査法、資料分析法の基礎を学ぶ。資料に対する観察眼を養い、遺跡・遺物の調査研究を進めていくために必要な実技を修得する。遺物の特徴に応じた写真撮影の方法を実習する。資料保存・修復の作業実習も行う。また通年において、発掘技術、測量作業、記録法などの実際を発掘調査現場において学ぶ。特に出席および毎回の受講態度を重視する。相当量の宿題あり。
This course provides actual experiences of archaeological research. Archaeological records and excavated artifacts from the investigation by the Laboratory of Archaeology, Graduate School of Arts and Letters, Tohoku University are used in the class. The method of analysis and production of excavation reports are practiced during the class hours. A heavy load of homework (off class hour laboratory work) is expected. Good commands of the Japanese language are necessary especially during discussion and laboratory work.
（１）考古学資料の基礎的な分析法を理解できるようになる。（２）共同研究の意義について、理解できるようになる。（３）考古学資料の整理と分析を経験し、調査報告書作成の実際を行う。（４）発掘調査実習を通して、調査方法の基礎を学ぶ。

The cours includes such practice as making drawings, illustration work, photograph taking, editing the excavation reports, as well as statistical attribute analysis and presentation in professional societies.

考古学実習を通年で連続履修することが望ましい。発掘調査の出土量や作業の進捗に応じて、講義内容は前後します。
