Intermediate Course of Latin Grammar
この授業では、受講生が、ラテン語の基礎文法を基にして、中世以降のテクストの読解力を習得することを目的とする。授業では、様々なテクストの中から重要な点や注意すべき点を指摘しながら解説する。
The purpose of this class is for students to acquire reading comprehension skills for texts from the Middle Ages onwards, based on fundamental Latin grammar. In class, giving attention and explaining important points in various texts.
古典ラテン語文法を基にしながら、後期ラテン語、中世ラテン語など、様々な時代のテクストを読解できるようになることである。
At the aim of this course, participants are able to read texts from various eras(Late Latin,Medieval Latin, and so on) based on classical Latin grammar.

出席日数が総授業数の2/3以上の学生が評価の対象になります。
出席状況（３分の２の出席を単位取得の最低条件とし、残り３分の１を全体の40％に換算）,レポート（60％），に基づいて評価する。（ただし比重は 平均点、偏り、状況等により調整することがある。）
Grading is performed comprehensively based on attendance, examination or report, and so on. Attendance of more than two-thirds of all the classes is required.
Evaluation will be calculated according to the following: class attendance (40%),report (60%).

指定したテキスト（プリント）の該当箇所を読んで、予習しておくこと。
テキストの練習問題を利用して、授業の内容を理解し、例文の文法解析をしておく
Students are required to prepare for the assigned part of the handouts. They also required to review each class using handouts and to analyze example sentences grammatical word by word.
Students must bring their own computers to class?

辞書は参考書としているが、受講のためには必要と考えてほしい。
教科書としてプリントを配付する。
履修後続いてラテン語IIの履修が望まれる。
This course will be taught in Japanese. It is necessary for students to use a Latin dictionary in this class. No textbooks but references (handouts) are provided.
It is preferable to attend "Latin grammar II" sequentially to cover basic Latin grammar.
