行動科学の基礎リテラシーと質的調査
Basic behavioural science literacy and qualitative research
この授業では、行動科学の研究に必要なリテラシーを身につけることを目指す。このリテラシーとは、文献探索、スライド作成、論文・レポートの作成技術を指す。また、社会科学の中で行動科学と連携が期待される質的調査の技法についても取り扱う。
The aims of this course is to provide students with the literacy necessary to conduct research of the behavioral sciences. This literacy refers to the techniques of reference search, preparation, and writing papers and reports. The course will also deal with qualitative research techniques that are expected to be linked to behavioral science in the social sciences.
（1）論文やプレゼン、レポート作成に必要な技術を身につける。
（2）行動科学において連携が期待される質的調査の基礎的な技術を身につける。
(1) Acquire the skills necessary for writing papers, presentations and reports.
(2) Acquire basic skills in qualitative research, which is expected to be linked in the behavioural sciences.
この授業では、第1-6回目に情報探索の方法や論文の書き方、スライドの作成技術といった行動科学のリテラシー、および社会調査（特に質的調査）の大枠について学ぶ。第7回目以降は、質的調査の手法について学ぶ。具体的には、事前に質的調査の各手法を用いて書かれた論文を読み、その内容を担当者がまとめて当日パワーポイントで発表する。その後、教員から各手法について補足・解説を行う形で進める。なお、授業内では一部グループワークを行うこともある。
最後に、期末レポートを作成し、提出してもらう。
授業は対面授業を予定している。特に、第2-3回目の授業は図書館での対面の学習を予定している。
資料は授業時、およびclassroomでも配布する（テキスト等の購入は必要ない）。

In this class, the first six sessions will cover behavioral science literacy, such as information-seeking methods, writing papers, and preparation techniques, and the general framework of social research (especially qualitative research). From the seventh session onward, students will learn about qualitative research methods. Specifically, the students will read papers written using each method of qualitative research in advance, and summarize the contents of the papers and give a PowerPoint presentation on the day of the class. Afterwards, the I will explain each method. Some group work may be conducted in class.
At the end of the class, students will be asked to prepare and submit a fictitious research plan as a final report.
The class is scheduled to be a face-to-face class. In particular, the 2nd and 3rd classes will be scheduled for face-to-face study in the library.
Materials will be distributed in class and also in the classroom (no textbooks or other materials need to be purchased).
