Reading Fichte’s Writings of Educational Philosophy
フィヒテの『学者の使命』（1795年）は、学者とは何であるかという観点から、教育哲学の議論を展開した古典的なテクストとしてきわめて重要です。それと同時に、前年の『全知識学の基礎』（1794年）で提示された純粋な自我の概念について、より広い視点から考察がなされており、フィヒテ哲学のみならず、近代ドイツ哲学を理解する上で非常に有用なものだといえます。さらに『学者の使命』では、学者が何であるかという問題が社会や文化との関係から論じられており、非常に多様な層から問題に光を当てています。
この講読では、フィヒテのテクストを精読することを通じて、近代ドイツ哲学における基本問題を確認するとともに、その独自の展開をテクストに即して読み解くことを目指します。
In this course, we are going to read some philosophical writings of Johann Gottlieb Fichte（1762～1814） concerning the problem of education and culture in its original German text. By reading the text, we are going to tackle with the problem of the education on the one hand, and that of the cultivation of human being. Fichte's thought had great influeneces on the contemporary philosophers and artists. By reading and discussing this text, we will attain the foundation to understand the typical topics and manner of the modern philosophy.
