日本近代仏教思想：科学、戦争、政治 Modern Japanese Buddhist Thought: Science, War, and Politics

授業の目的と概要/Object and Summary of Class

日本の明治時代から昭和初期にかけて、日本近代仏教思想と科学、戦争、及び政治について考察し、テキスト分析を行、研究方法を学ぶ事。

Analyzing modern Japanese Buddhist thought (including religion and philosophy) from the Meiji to early Showa periods, and gaining research skills in this area.

学修の到達目標/Goal of Study

思想史、宗教史と戦争及びイデオロギーについての研究方法を学ぶ。近代日本思想のテキスト分析、ディスカッション、プレゼンのスキルなどを身につける。

Gaining research skills in the fields of intellectual history and religion in the context of politics and war. Analyzing texts from modern Japanese intellectual history. Presentation skills etc.
