The Deepning of European and American Studies (2024-2)
ヨーロッパ、およびアメリカの文学・歴史・社会・文化を研究対象とする学生の博士論文作成に向け、受講生が研究報告をおこない、その報告に関する質疑応答や意見交換を出席者全員でおこなう。
In this course the students will make presentations on their research topics, one or a couple of students per week, and the others will discuss them. Thereby the students will acquire the necessary skills to conduct research in European and American studies and to present the results.
研究報告ならびに議論をつうじ、学術研究の方法を習得するとともに、完成度の高い博士論文を作成する能力を身につけること。
In this course the students will acquire
(1) the necessary skills to conduct research in European and American studies
(2) the ability to generate a high-level doctoral thesis.
博士論文の完成に向け、研究科の学位取得スケジュールに合わせた研究報告をおこなう。対面授業を予定しているが、場合によってはオンライン（Google Classroom）による。
The students make several presenrations in accord with the degree program.

研究報告内容および議論への参加度を総合的に評価する。
Evaluation will be based on the presentation and participation in the discussion.
教科書は使用しない。参考書は適宜、授業のなかで示す。
No textbooks will be used, although some literature might be recommended in the course if necessary.
学生は自分の発表の際に用いるハンドアウトを決められた日までに提出すること。
The students have to submit their handouts on the designated day.
