病理標本作製の理論の理解および手技の習得
[Processing of pathological specimens]
病理診断は、生体から採取した組織もしくは細胞から作製された顕微鏡標本の観察によって行われるが、目的に応じて様々な顕微鏡標本が作製される。本実習では各種病理標本の作製方法および実際の病理検査における注意点を体験を通して理解する。
[Pathological examination is done by light microscopic observation of tissues or cells from body. This practice covers how specimens are processed for pathological examination (fixation, staining etc) and what we should pay attention to in actual pathological examination.]
標本作製における重要事項を理解し、標本の適否を判断できるようになることを目的とする。
[To understand the process of pathological examination and become able to judge the propriety of slides.]
組織検査実習:パラフィン包埋ブロック作製の各過程の手技および各種染色手技の習得（標本の適否の評価含む）/Practice for histological examination: Achieving the techniques for formalin-fixed preparing paraffin-embedded blocks and staining (including evaluation of slides).
1．検体の固定から包埋まで（脱脂、脱灰含む）（3 h）/Fixation, trimming, decalcification, delipidation and embedding
2．パラフィンブロックの薄切（3 h）/Sectioning
3．ヘマトキシリンエオジン染色（4 h）/Hematoxylin-eosin staining
4．特殊染色I（結合組織染色）（4 h）/Staining for connective tissues
5．特殊染色II（粘液）（4 h）/Staining for mucin
6．特殊染色III（病原体）（4 h）/Staining for bacteria and fungi
7．特殊染色IV（中枢神経）（4 h）/Staining for central nerve system
8．組織標本の評価と解析（スケッチおよびグループディスカッション）（8 h）/Evaluation and microscopic analysis of histology specimens (including group discussion)
細胞診検査実習:細胞診検体の検体処理および染色手技の習得（標本の適否の評価含む）/ Practice for cytological examination: Achieving the techniques for cytology sample processing (including sketch evaluation of slides).
9．細胞診の検体処理およびパパニコロウ染色（4 h）/ Sample processing and Papanicolaou staining
10．細胞診標本の評価と解析（スケッチおよびグループディスカッション）（4 h）/ Evaluation and microscopic analysis of cytology specimens (including sketch group discussion)
まとめ/sum up
11．残余検体の整理・保存およびスライドガラスの保管（3 h）/Straightening of remaining sample and slides
レポートをもとに判定する（100%）。
全回への出席が必須である。
