授業の目的・概要及び達成方法等/Object in Class subject and Object and summary of class and Goal of study(J)

[授業の目的]
地域研究のための歴史学的アプローチの有効性およびその導入手法について理解する。

[授業の概要]
具体的には、近現代の東北アジア諸地域における国民国家形成の過程を分析・理解する上での歴史学的な研究アプローチの有効性やその導入手法について論じる。授業はこちらで指定するテキストの輪読をおこなうことで、歴史学の文献の読み方と討議の手法を学ぶ。

This class aims to understand the effectiveness of the historiographical approach to area studies and its introduction method.
We will discuss the effectiveness of the historiographical research approach and methods for analysing and understanding the process of nation-state formation in the modern and contemporary Northeast Asian regions.
This class will proceed by combining text reading and discussion.
