経済史・経営史を学ぶ上で必要な基本的な知識を習得する。具体的には、経済史・経営史を事例として、通説と学説史を理解することが本授業の目的である。
To develop basic knowledge necessary for studying economic and business history. Specifically, the purpose of this class is to understand prevailing orthodoxy and doctrinal history concerning the economic history and business history.
この演習では、研究するうえで必要になるさまざまな基本的なスキルを修得し、方法論を体得することを目的とする。
The purpose of this seminar is to acquire various basic skills necessary for conducting research and to master the methodology.

毎回、各自は文献で指定された箇所及び適宜提示された参考文献を必ず事前に読み、演習に出席する。報告者の報告内容を素材として、議論を行う。
In each class, students must read the literature in advance. All participants will have discussions based on the resume of the reporter.

議論に参加するためには事前に文献を読まなければならない。したがって、演習問題もあるため予習は必須である。前の議論内容がその後の内容に直結することがあるため、復習も適宜必要となる。
