【History and members of Tohoku University】
東北大学に関わる具体的な人物（教授や学生たち）をとりあげながら、大学や学問にかかわる人々が、様々な時代や環境の中でどのように生きようとしてきたのかを学びます。
【In this lecture, you will learn about the history of the people involved in Tohoku University. You will learn how members of Tohoku University have been trying to live in different times and environments.】
１）大学に関わる様々なひとびとの歴史的経験を知ることをつうじ、大学・学問と人間のかかわりについて考える能力を身につけること。
２）自らが学生生活を送る環境に対する興味を深め、大学での学習意欲を高めること。
【1) The purpose of this lecture is to gain the ability to think about the relationship between universities, academics, and humans through learning about the historical experiences of various people involved in the university.
