The world of art history-Western, Eastern, Japanese
世界には美術があふれている。洋の東西を問わず、人間は美術と深く関わってきた。人間の歴史にとって、美術は欠くことのできないものだったのである。それは何故だろう。この授業では、西洋・東洋・日本の美術を詳しく紹介することを通して、人間と美術の本質的な関係を説明する。
The world is full of art. Humans have been deeply involved in art, in both the East and the West. Art was an integral part of human history. Why is that? In this class, we will explain the essential relationship between humans and art by introducing Western, Eastern, and Japanese art in detail.
