がん生物学入門/Introduction to cancer biology
【目的/Object】がん研究を題材にして、人間生物学における諸問題について理解する。
Using the history of cancer research as a theme, students will understand various issues in human biology.
【概要/Summary of Class】
【講義】がん研究の歴史について紹介し、様々な問題を提起する。文系の学生でも理解、議論できる内容。
【Lecture】 Lecturers introduce the history of cancer research and raise various issues.
【ディベート】講義で提示された内容について議論する。
【Debate】 Students discuss the content presented in the lecture.
【実験】抗体に関わる簡単な実験を体験する。
【Experiment】 Students experience research related to antibody.
【発表】ディベートで取り上げた内容、または実習など、興味を持った内容について発表し、出席者とともに議論する。履修人数により数人のグループに分けてグループ単位で発表する。
【Presentation】 Students give presentation about the experiment or various issues in human biology. Depending on the number of students taking the course, students will be divided into groups and each group will make a presentation.

【Debate （70％）】We highly value students who actively participate in discussions. It is important to listen carefully to and respect the opinions of others, and to express your own opinions accurately. Students submit a brief summary after each session.
【実習（15％）】プロトコールに従って実験を行う。（全１回）
【Experiment （15％）】 Students perform the experiment properly according to the protocol.
【発表15％）】PowerPointを用いたプレゼンテーションを行う。数人のグループに分けてグループ単位で発表する。（最終回）
【Presentation （15％）】Students give a presentation using PowerPoint. Students will be divided into several groups and give presentation.
講義の内容を踏まえて、ディベートに備えて必要な事項を調査し、自分の考えをまとめておく。
Based on the content of the lecture, students summarize their thoughts for the debate.
発表会に向けてPowerPointの使い方を調べておく。
Students learn how to use PowerPoint in preparation for the presentation.

ディベート終了後、要約を提出して頂きます。

発表会（第15回）のためのPowerPointプレゼンテーションを作成して頂きます。
