道徳性を＜科学＞する：発達と教育から道徳を考える
The science of morality
人間を特別な存在たらしめるもののひとつに道徳性がある。現在、人間の道徳性の起源や発達については、社会科学、生物科学、人文科学など様々な研究分野で議論されている。
本講義では、特に心理学の知見をもとに、人間の道徳とは何か、どのように発達していくのか、どのように教育していけばよいのかを議論する。また、受講生は、他の受講生に対して、自由な発想でオリジナルの「道徳の授業」を提案し、実践する。
この「道徳の授業」は、小中学校の『道徳の時間』に囚われる必要はない。特に、一つの答えを押し付けないよう気をつけてほしい。
Darwin (1871) once wrote that “of all the differences between [humans] and [nonhuman] animals, the moral sense or conscience is by far the most important.”
The origins and development of human morality are currently being discussed in various fields of research in the social sciences, the biological sciences and the humanities.
In this course, we will discuss what human morality is, how it develops, and how it can be educated, especially based on the findings of psychology.
Students will also propose and practice 'moral lessons' for other students in the course.
It is hoped that this moral lesson will be free from the "Dotoku-no-Jikan" of primary and secondary school and that they will avoid imposing a single answer. Students could create their own lessons based on their free ideas.
人間の道徳性とは何か、どのように発達していくのか、どのように教育していけばよいのかを、講義・グループワーク・実践を通して、理解し議論できる。
To understand and discuss what human morality is, how it develops, and how it can be educated through lectures, group work and practice.
本講義では、受講生を数人ずつのグループに分け、各グループ内作業と全体討論をする。
学期の最後に各グループの成果を発表し、受講者全員でディスカッションする。
道徳性の発達に関する文献や教育に関する動画教材などを通して、道徳性について理解する。
学期の最後には、大学生を対象としたオリジナルの「道徳の授業」を考案、実践する。「道徳」を広義に捉え、また小中学校の「道徳の時間」に囚われずに、大学生を対象とした有益な実践を考えてほしい。現実に議論のある問題の討論や、行動や感情スキルに関する実践（例えばアンガーマネジメント）など、自由な発想で企画してほしい。

第１１・１２・１３回 結果のまとめ プレゼンテーション準備（資料作成）
第１４・１５ 成果発表（各グループの「道徳の授業」実践）
※ 各回の作業内容は、グループの進行状況によって変更する場合がある。
※ 3日間の集中講義のため、できる限り時間内に作業を終えられるように構成している。
In this lecture, students will be divided into groups of several people, and In-class activities are conducted on a group basis. Finally, there will be a presentation session to present the results of the project.

出席状況、プロジェクトへの貢献度、期末の発表などを総合的に評価する。
詳細は初回授業時に説明する。
Attendance, contribution to the project, and presentation at the end of the term will be comprehensively evaluated.
Details will be explained in the first class.
授業の最後に、各グループで当日の作業の振り返りを行い、次回授業日までに各メンバーが担当する作業やホームワークの内容を確認する。各メンバーは各々に割り振られた作業を責任をもって遂行してくることが求められる。
At the end of the class, each group will review the work of the day and confirm the work and home work that each member will be responsible for before the next class day. Each member is expected to take responsibility for the work assigned to them.
必須ではないが、情報収集等において各自のパソコンを持ち込んで活用することが望ましい。
Although it is not required, it is desirable to bring your own computer and use it for information gathering.
