授業の目的と概要/Object and Summary of Class

動物は、①外界から摂取した栄養素を材料として自己体を形成・成長させ、②自己体の生理機能を制御することにより種々の環境から自己を防衛し、さらに③自己遺伝子を複製して子孫を作り出すという一連の生命活動を行っている。本講義では、このような動物の生命機能の維持機構について、生理学・栄養学・微生物学的側面から概説する。
In this course, the maintenance mechanism of animals' various life functions is reviewed from the aspect of physiology, nutrition, and microbiology.

学習の到達目標/Goal of Study

生理学・栄養学・微生物学の異なる学問分野から動物生命科学について学び、動物生命科学と動物生産科学に対する考え方を習得する。
Students learn about animal life science from different disciplines of physiology/nutrition/bioenergetics/microbiology and develop the way of thinking about animal life science and animal production science.

授業内容・方法と進度予定/Contents and Progress Schedule of the Class-1-授業計画

第1～4回目：
動物の消化器官と消化吸収、エネルギー産生、アミノ酸の利用、栄養素・非栄養素の機能性、ミトコンドリア機能
Nutrient absorption, intestinal tract, energy production, utilization of amino acids, nutrient/non-nutrient, mitochondrial functions

成績評価方法/Record and Evaluation Method

80％以上の出席率と定期試験の結果により評価する。
Evaluation is performed based on attendance (more than 80%)and the final examination.

教科書および参考書/Textbook and References

講義中に各担当教員より指示する。
Each instructor will give instructions for the recommendations during the lecture.

(1) 第１～12回目までは授業、第13および14回目は3講師との質疑応答を行う。
