作物生産と環境に関する基礎土壌学
Fundamental soil science for agricultural production and environmental issues.

授業の目的と概要/Object and Summary of Class

土壌は私達の食糧を生産する培地であると同時に大気，水とともに環境を構成する因子のひとつである．ここでは土壌学一般の理解を目的にしながら，作物生育における土壌の役割，最近の環境問題と土壌との関係を学ぶ．土壌は無機物と有機物の混合物で，その中には各種微生物から植物・動物に至る各種生物が生存する．このような一見複雑な土壌の構成成分に関する理解を進めると共に，その中で起こる化学変化，物質移動，植物の生育と関連するその他の生物活動等における規則性と変動状況を把握する．
This course serves as an introductory course of soil science for students studying in agricultural science before taking specialized studies.
Students will learn soil constituents and understand role of soil for plant production and the relationship between soil and environmental issues.

受講生がこの授業を通して土壌構成成分、土壌の化学的、物理的、生物的特性特性、土壌の生成過程さらには土壌環境問題を理解することを目標とする．

This course is designed to help students understand soil constituents, chemical, physical and biological properties of soils, soil genesis and soil environmental problems.

成績評価方法/Record and Evaluation Method

ほぼ毎回のミニレポートと期末筆記試験とを合わせて総合的に評価する．
Evaluation is performed comprehensively based on short reports and a term‐end examination.
