授業の目的と概要/Object and Summary of Class

寒流(親潮)と暖流(黒潮)が混合する海域に位置し、対馬暖流が沿岸域を南下する三陸沿岸の生物の多様性、環境の多様性を実感し、その重要性を知ることを目的とする。具体的には東北大学農学部の女川フィールドセンターに宿泊して、実際に沿岸岩礁域潮間帯で生物を採集、形態による分類とその機能、分布域との関連性を調べ、種、形態、分布、生態、環境、機能等の多様性について考察する。

牡鹿半島沿岸の岩礁域潮間帯に生息する生物種を採集し、同定する。それらの形態的特徴と生態的特徴、環境との関連性について考察する。

女川フィールドセンターでの実施（合宿形式）を予定しているが、状況によっては、オンデマンド実習となる可能性がある。詳細はGoogle Classroomでアナウンスする。

8月下旬に女川フィールドセンターで実施する（合宿形式）。新型コロナウィルスの影響で実施形態が変更になる可能性もある。実施に関する連絡は主にGoogle Classroomを通じて行うので、常に注意しておくこと。
