動物遺伝育種学に関する基本的知識を習得する。
Students will learn about basic knowledge of animal breeding and genetics.
応用動物科学コースの学生を対象とする。
動物における遺伝育種学の目的は、人類にとって有用な形質を持つ動物の遺伝的能力をより有益な方向に導くことである。本講義では、動物における遺伝育種学の基本的な知識を生物統計学、遺伝学および育種学から習得することで、実用家畜における育種改良の仕組みと現状についての理解を深める。
This course is mainly for the students who belong to applied animal science. The aim of animal breeding is to guide the genetic ability of animals in a beneficial direction for mankind. Students can deepen their understanding of current animal breeding by learning basic knowledges of biostatistics, genetics, and breeding.

The purpose of this course is to help students better understand and discuss about the animal breeding and genetics through basic knowledges of biostatistics, genetics, and breeding.

Introduction to biostatistics
出席を含む平常点、レポートおよび試験によって総合的に評価する。
Evaluation is performed comprehensively based on attendance, essay, and examination.
資料として主にプリントを配布する。
References are mainly handed out at each class.
