授業の目的・概要及び達成方法等 /Object in Class subject and Object and summary of class and Goal of study

衛生化学は、人の健康の維持・増進と疾病予防のため、環境ストレスや新興感染症、薬物など様々なストレスから人を守る方策を考える研究領域であり、重点的な研究テーマは時代のニーズに合わせて変化する。本講義では、特に、微生物による感染症の成立や予防法、免疫と食物アレルギー、また、がん、循環器疾患、糖尿病といった生活習慣病の疫学と予防について理解を深める。

Health Chemistry is the research field to find the method by which protect human from various types of stress including environmental stress, emerging infectious diseases, and drugs, leading to maintenance and increase of human health and prevention of human diseases. Therefore, the important theme is changed by the needs of the times. In this course, students can especially deepen their understanding of infection by microorganisms and their prophylaxis, immunity and food allergy, epidemiology and prophylaxis of life style-related diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes.

3.　様々なストレスと疾患との関係を理解する。

成績評価方法/Evaluation Method

筆記試験（75%）と平常点（25％）を基に評価する。

Students are evaluated on the final examination (75%) and the class performance (25%).
