医薬品の対象である生体の機能を理解し、病態に正確に対応するためには、生体を構成している各種成分そのもの、そしてその機能に対する生化学的理解が不可欠と言える。生化学１では、生体を構成する糖、アミノ酸、タンパク質、脂質、核酸等の生体成分とそれらの関連成分の構造と機能について学習する。
To understand diseases based on the functions of body as targets of drugs, it is necessary to know biochemical functions and structures of biological substances.
In this course, students will understand the structures and functions of carbohydrates, amino acids, proteins, lipids, nucleic acids, and their related substances.
生体構成成分の基本的構造、性質、役割を説明できるようになると共に、それらの生体における機能について理解できるようになる。

授業中の筆記試験を含めた平常点（20％）および学期末の筆記試験（80%）で評価する。
Evaluation is performed based on class performance including the small tests (20%) and the final examinations (80%).
