In this cource, lectures on 1) ground motion theory as a basic theory for earthquake input motion evaluation, 2) seismic load evaluation method considering amplification characteristics of ground motion from engineering bedrock to the ground surface and dynamic soil-structure interaction, are conducted for performance-based structural design.
Under the circumstances that earthquake input motion evaluations considering the site-specific earthquake and ground environments become popular, the evaluation techniques and applicatin examples are discussed.
Students will acquire the basic knowledge and skills of structural design to take structural design internship.
Google Classroom will be used for communication and submission of assignments.
Students who will take structural design internship are expected to learn the basic knowledge and the application skills in order to conduct structural design by this lecture.
