Various metallic materials which are important for infrastructures in our society are briefly introduced. Fundamentals of microstructure controls and their relations to materials properties (mainly, mechanical ones) will be learned.

予習:事前に配布される講義資料および参考書の対応箇所を読み,理解できる部分と理解できない部分を明確にしておく.
復習:講義資料および参考書を読み直したり,講義ノートを整理したりすることで,講義の内容をよく理解する.レポート課題がある場合はそれに取り組む.
(各講義当たりの所要時間1~1.5時間)
Preparation: Students should read a related part of the textbook before the lecture and clarify the points which you do not understand well.
Review: You should read the textbook again and the reorganize your lecture notes to fully understand what you have learned. Do homework when it is assigned.
(The time it takes : 1~1.5hour per lecture)
