授業の目的・概要及び達成方法等

配属された各講座において，研究に当たって必要な情報収集や英文の研究論文の読解・解説・討議等の方法を学び，「社会基盤デザイン研修B」で遂行する研究に関わる基礎知識ならびに技能を身につけることを目的とする．
当該研究室の指導教員の指導のもとに，土木工学に関連した最新の文献を読み，理解した内容を総括して発表・討議を行う．また，各専門分野の研究を行うに当たって，そのために必要な情報収集や整理の方法ならびに英文論文等の読解力を養うとともに，研究方法（解析や実験方法）やプレゼンテーション技報を学ぶ．

Purpose: The objective of this course is to gain the ability of fundamental research and technical developments for problem-solving in civil engineering.
Summary: Students are required to review the current advance in the field of interest articles, which are related to their graduation thesis topics.
Achievement: Students are expected to have the ability of a literature survey and presentation skills.
