1.目的:
生態系の機能を強化し,破壊された生態系を修復し,生態系の機能を利用する工学である生態工学の基礎について学ぶ.
2.概要:
生態工学の基本原理である生態学の基礎(生態系の概念,構造,機能)について湖沼生態系を例に説明し,環境問題を生態学的に理解する必要性を述べ,生態工学による環境修復の方法について水域および土壌・森林生態系を対象として解説する.
3.達成目標等:
本授業は環境保全の基本である循環・共生の意味の理解,および生態系の保全・管理に重要な基礎知識の習得を目標とする.

Objective:
Learn basics of ecological engineering which aims to enforce ecosystem functions, restore damaged ecosystems, and utilize ecosystem functions.
Outlines:
Principal concepts of ecology, such as definition, structure and functions of ecosystems
Structures and functions of aquatic ecosystems
Methodologies for restoring aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems
Goals:
Understand the fundamental concepts of environmental protection, material cycling and symbiosis, and learn basics for ecosystem conservation and management.
