【目的】
中規模の施設の機能や性格を理解し、その設計能力を身に付ける。
【概要】
中規模の施設を成立させる基本的なプログラムを理解し、その設計を行う。住宅を対象とした建築設計AIIに対して、建築設計BIでは、美術館、図書館、病院、学校など、不特定多数の人間が出入りする公共性の高いビルディングタイプを扱う。課題となる施設について様々な事例から学び、各自の問題意識に照らし合わせながら、独創的な空間をつくることをめざす。
様々なスケールの模型と図面の作成を通じてエスキースが行われ、最終成果物としてプレゼンテーションボード，模型等の作成が求められるほか，教官に対する効果的なプレゼンテーションを行う。
【達成目標等】
中小規模施設を設計する際に必要となる、様々な機能や性格を統合しつつ空間を創出する能力の獲得を目標とする。

Object:
Understand the fonctions and the characteristics of the middle-size building and Master the architectural design skill for it
Outline:
Understanding the basic program for the middle-size building, each learners elaborate his architectural project and make presentation for it
Target to Achieve:
Acquisition of the architectural design skill for the middle-size buildings which makes possible to integrate theirs various fonctions and characters for creating the well-composed spaces.
・都市・建築デザインコースは、必修である。都市・建築学コースは選択必修である。
・建築設計CⅠ,CⅡ,建築設計Dを履修するためには、原則として本科目を履修しておかなければならない。
Required subject for the urban architectural course, Elective subject for the urban architectural course
In principle, the students who wish to take the Architectural Design CI, CII or D, must complete this subject.
授業計画
本年度では、以下のスケジュールを予定している。

課題内容は、美術館・学校などの身近に体験可能な単体の中規模施設を設計することによって、施設が都市や社会に対して担うべき役割や、敷地周辺の読み方、パブリックスペースの扱い方、そして、空間を構築する楽しみを学ぶ。
The class schedule is planned as follows: the orientation for the beginning of April, the final jury for the end of May, and the esquisses ( one or two timse par weeek)in between.
設計課題については、エスキスで指摘されたことを踏まえて設計案の熟度を高めていくと同時に、関係する専門知識（計画、設備、構造）の参照や類似事例の分析を行う
The reference for concerned knowledges about planning, facilities, structure and the analysis of similar examples are recommended in parallel with the elaboration of students' own design.
全ての課題を決められた期限内に提出することが前提となる。前提を満たした上で、社会性のある提案力、建築各部の美的構成力、３次元の読解力などをベースに、図面の完成度、プログラムの展開力、構造・素材に対する理解などが評価される。課題に対する製作・発表内容、授業・エスキースへの出席状況を総合して評価する。
Students should turn in all assignments within the terms. On this premise, evaluation could be performed comprehensively on both the submitted assignments and classe patricipation,and the final project and presentation.
授業（エスキス）終了時に受け付ける。詳細はその際に指示する。
