Objects:
Learn the fundamental knowledge for the traditional architectural drawing
Learn basic design skills in handling the three-dimensional space and understanding the architectural structure and detail.
Outline:
Tracing the drawings of some existing buildings, the learners understand the method for the traditional drawing and the correspondences between each building's elements and each part of the drawing.
Using the study models and the sketches for handling the three-dimensional form and reflecting the structural mechanic, materials, details, etc., each learner composes his architectural project for the required small-scale gallery and makes a presentation for it.
Online classes and face-to-face (conventional) classes are combined. Various announcements are informed through Google Classroom.
Target to Achieve:
Acquisition of basic architectural design skills about the understanding of the architectural scale, structural mechanics, and detail.
Required subject for both courses
The class schedule is planned as follows: the orientation at the beginning of October, the final jury at the end of November, and the esquisses ( one or two times per week)in between.
Students should elaborate on their own design while analyzing planning, facilities, structure, and similar examples.
Students should turn in all assignments by the deadline. On this premise, the evaluation would be performed comprehensively on the submitted assignments, class participation, the final project, and the presentation.
Make an appointment at the end of the classes.
