授業の目的
・通信のための電波と光波の伝送路に関する基礎理論と解析法を身に付けること.
・高周波における実用的な伝送路とデバイスの動作原理と解析法を身に付けること.
授業の概要
・伝送路の基礎理論と解析法(分布定数線路理論,スミスチャート,Sパラメータ(散乱行列),インピーダンス整合など)
・実用的な伝送路の動作原理と解析法(同軸線路,マイクロストリップ線路,方形導波管,光ファイバなど)
達成方法等
・講義,演習,レポート,中間試験,定期試験

Learning Goals:
・Students will learn basic theories and analysis methods for transmission lines of electromagnetic/optical waves in communication systems at high frequency.
・Students will learn basic principles and analysis methods for practical transmission lines at high frequency.
Overview of Lecture:
・Basic theories and analysis methods for transmission lines.
Transmission line theory, Smith chart, scattering parameter and impedance matching, etc.
・Basic principles and analysis methods for practical transmission lines.
Coaxial transmission line, microstrip line, rectangular waveguide and optical fiber, etc.
Learning methods
・Lectures, Exercises, Reports, Midterm, and Final examination
1. 「電気回路学基礎論」と「電磁気学Ⅰ」の履修を前提とし,「電磁気学Ⅱ」も履修しておくことが望ましい.
また,基本的な複素数演算とベクトル演算の数学知識も必須である.
2. 講義ではスライドを使用する.スライドはウェブサイトからダウンロードできる.
3. 予習と復習をよくすること.
1. The students should have completed the courses including Fundamentals of Electric Circuits and Electromagnetism 1. It is preferable for students to have completed Electromagnetism 2. Students should have a knowledge of applied mathematics including complex number operation and vector analysis.
2. Slideshow is used in lecture, which can be downloaded from website of the course.
3. Preparation and review are strongly recommended.

Students are required to be ready for each class by reading the handouts and references in advance of the lecture.
Review of the lecture is strongly recommended after the class.
出席,宿題と演習のレポート(40%)と定期試験(60%)による評価を行う.
Students are graded on their attendance, submitted reports(40%) and examination(60%).
