This course is designed to teach the fundamentals of electronic properties and the operating principles of the semiconductor electronics and optoelectronics that support today's information technology (IT) society. In the first part of the course, students will first learn the basic physical properties of solid-state materials, which form the basis of the operation of electron devices. Next, students learn about the operating principles and basic operating characteristics of diodes and transistors as the basic elements of electron devices. They will also learn the optoelectronic properties of solid-state materials to understand the operating principles of optoelectronic devices such as photodiodes and light-emitting devices.
Students must register at the Google Classroom for receiving / submitting materials and assignments.
