1.授業の目的と概要
電磁気学は電気,磁気,及び電磁波に関する現象を説明する物理学の1つの分野であり,電気電子工学の重要な専門科目である.本講義では,電磁波の性質,電磁波の放射や伝搬など、電磁波の基本について講義する.
2.成目標等
Maxwell方程式から波動方程式を導き,電磁波の性質について理解した後,電磁波の放射や伝搬など種々の問題に対する理論的な解析法を理解し,様々な電磁現象を物理的に解釈できる素養を身につける.

1. Course Aims
Electromagnetism is a branch of physics which involves the study of the electric and magnetic field, and electromagnetic waves, is also one of the most important courses in the electrical and electronic engineering. This course covers the fundamental theory and analysis methods of electromagnetic phenomena, including the basic characteristics of electromagnetic waves, as well as the radiation, propagation and scattering problems of electromagnetic waves.
2. Course Objectives
Students should be able to understand the characteristics of electromagnetic waves by deriving and solving wave equation from Maxwell equations. They should also understand the analysis method to the problems of radiation, propagation and scattering of electromagnetic waves. They should have an ability to explain the electromagnetic phenomena from a physical point of view.
1. 「電磁気学基礎論」と「電磁気学1」を履修しておく必要がある.また,複素数演算とベクトル演算の数学知識も必須である.
2. 講義ではスライドを使用する.スライドはGoogle Classroomからダウンロードできる.
3. 予習と復習をよくすること.
1. The students should have completed the courses including Fundamental Electromagnetics and Electromagnetics 1. They should have a knowledge of applied mathematics including complex number operation and vector analysis.
2. Slideshow is used in lecture, which can be downloaded from Google Classroom.
3. Preparation and review are strongly recommended.

プリントと参考書をよく読んで,予習・復習を必ず行うようにすること.授業時に課される宿題を完成し,次回の授業までに提出すること.理解できていない点があれば質問を用意し,次回授業時に質問すること.
Students are required to prepare and review for each class by reading the handout and references. Students are also required to complete assignments and submit assignments before the next class. If there remain any parts they cannot understand, they should ask questions in the next class.
出席,宿題と定期試験よる評価を行う.再試験の予定はない.
Students are evaluated on their attendance, submitted reports and examination. There is no reexamination proceeding.
