1. Objective:
Study building blocks of digital computing system and logic design of digital computer based on register-transfer logic. Through this study, you can understand an elementary design philosophy of VLSI processors.
2. Summary:
Learn basic building blocks of digital computing system such as combinational circuits, flip-flops, registers, counters, memories, sequential circuits, and arithmetic circuits. Also, study a basic design methodology of digital computer based on register-transfer logic, in combining with the above building blocks.
3. Goal:
The goal of this course is to acquire the skills of designing a simple digital computer. In order to reach this goal, deepen understanding design techniques of basic modules such as combinational circuits, registers, sequential circuits and arithmetic circuits, and design methodologies of digital computer based on register-transfer logic.
本科目は、電気情報物理工学科で開講している「計算機学」の内容を修得していることを前提とした科目である.
