This class will be organized by Google Classroom using the class code "vwwlbeq" in the academic year 2024.

This lecture aims to learn the advanced topics of heat transfer, mass transport phenomena, and interfacial phenomena based on the basic knowledge of heat transfer. In particular, the lecture will focus on the mechanism of each transport phenomenon.
1. Solid-state physics and heat transfer (conduction)
2. Diffusion mass transfer phenomena
3. Physical chemistry of solid-liquid-gas interfaces

13. Physics of interfacial phenomena
14. Application of interfacial phenomena
15. Review and final exam

授業時間外学習

The session time is limited and therefore self-directed learning is important. Students are required to make a thorough review, mainly by completing assignments. A short quiz may be given in every session time to evaluate students' understanding level.
