The purpose of this course is to learn fundamental knowledge of tribology, which is related to friction, wear, and lubrication at the contact interface of two solid bodies. Because friction losses account for more than 30% of mechanical power loss, to reduce friction in the mechanical system is a key technology to realize sustainable society. This course gives fundamental knowledge for control of friction, wear, and emission.

The information of this class will be given via Google Classroom. The class code is "qmvij2x".
