1.Class subject
NUMERICAL ANALYSIS is intended to be an advanced study of linear algebra and numerical analysis.

2.Object and summary of class
To obtain the knowledge of advanced level of linear algebra is the object of the class.
Moreover, to understand the concepts and develop relevant calculation abilities is the object.
Applications to several engineering issues are included.

3.Goal of study
To master the application of linear algebra and numerical analysis is the goal of study.

This course is an advanced lecture of linear algebra. Thus, only students who have enough knowledge of linear algebra can apply for this class. Otherwise, it is strongly recommended that thorough review of basic linear algebra should be done.

授業時間外学習

到達目標や授業内容に応じた準備学習が求められる.履修者が自ら主体的に計画と目標を立て,自律的に準備学習に取り組むことを期待する.授業時間は限られているので,自主学習が重要になる.手を動かして式を導きながら教科書を何回も熟読すること.

授業時間外学習(E)

Students are required to prepare for class according to the goal and contents of each class. Students are strongly expected to voluntarily develop a plan and goals and to undertake preparatory learning. The session time is limited and therefore self-directed learning is important. Students are required to prepare and review for two hours in each class. Students should read repeatedly and derive equations in the textbook by themselves.
