Course Title

Landform changes and their processes by geomorphic agency (Geomorphology seminar 2)

授業の目的と概要

地形学やそれに関連する分野を取り上げ，地形の形成過程や地球表層環境の変化をどのように認識し，定量的な分析をおこなえるかについて考える．

Purpose/Abstract

The purpose of this course is to understand landform-changing processes and evolution, and their methodology.

学習の到達目標

さまざまな地域の地形発達史を理解する．また，研究目的に応じた最適な研究手法を理解する．

Goal

This seminar aims to help participants understand the evolution of landforms in various regions and the best research methods for their research objectives.

授業内容・方法と進度予定

＜授業計画の概要＞
　1．各自のテーマの設定およびその方法論，データ取得に関する検討
　2．野外での検討（宿泊を伴うこともある）
　　　数回に分けて行う．

Contentsandprogressscheduleofthe class

1. Setting and examining their own theme, methodology, and data acquisition.
2. Field excursion (sometimes accompanied by accommodation).

成績評価方法

セミナー形式で行う．出席状況と課題に対するレポートおよび発表内容などを総合して判断する．

Grading

Grades will be based on attendance, and report and presentation contents for the assignment.

教科書および参考書

特に指定はしないが，適宜指示する．

授業時間外学習

発表者は発表内容を十分に整理して臨む．その際，過去に指摘されたこと等も十分に吟味する．

Preparation and review

Presenters should prepare their presentations thoroughly. They should also carefully examine the points that have been pointed out in the past.

その他

地形学分野で修士論文を書く者は必ず受講すること．

This class must be taken by students who are writing their master's thesis in the field of geomorphology.
