授業の目的と概要

北海道樽前火山，有珠火山などにおいて，火山岩・火山堆積物などの観察から噴火過程を読み解く訓練をする。

Understanding how the processes of volcanic eruption are investigated based on the observation of volcanic rocks and deposits

火山岩や堆積物の野外における観察方法を学び，噴火過程を読み解く流れを理解する。

授業内容・方法と進度予定

北海道樽前火山や有珠火山など活動的な火山において，火山岩や火山堆積物の観察と記載を行い，その特徴と生成過程について議論する。また，それらから推測される噴火過程についても野外にて議論を行う。これらについて，レポートとしてまとめ，1カ月後程度を目安に提出する。

Contentsandprogressscheduleofthe class

We will observe and describe volcanic rocks and deposits at Tarumae and Usu volcanoes in Hokkaido and discuss the processes of volcanic eruptions. These results are summarized in the report. Students will submit the report within a month after the field excursion.
