Course Title

Basic number theory

授業の目的と概要

整数論の基礎を扱った文献を精密に読み込み、関連する問題を解き、その内容を身につける。 

Purpose/Abstract

To read textbooks on the foundations of number theory, to solve questions on related topics, and to understand the contents. 

学習の到達目標

一年間かけてテキストを読み、関連する問題を解き、整数論の基礎を身につける。

Goal

Read one textbook within a year, solve problems on related topics, and obtain the foundation of number theory. 

授業内容・方法と進度予定

セミナー形式(毎週1回)で、受講生の発表と教員を含むメンバー全員の討論によって進める。

Contentsandprogressscheduleofthe class

This is a seminar-style course (one or two times per a week).
Talks on the textbooks are given by participants, followed by discussion among all participants. 

成績評価方法

セミナーにおける発表および討論による。

Grading

Depending on talks in the seminar and reports.
