偏微分方程式論入門
Introduction to Partial Differential Equations
これまで数学を学んできた総括として、偏微分方程式論の入門書を独力で読むことができるようになることを目的とする。また、セミナーでの発表を通して、プレゼンテーション能力を向上させることも目的の一つである。
The purpose of this class is to learn the fundamental theory of partial differential equations.
１. 入門的な偏微分方程式論の洋書を独力で読み進めることができるようになる。
２. 数学の専門家に対して数学的内容を正確かつわかりやすく伝えることができるようになる。
The goal of this class is to understand the fundamental theory of partial differential equations.
講義はセミナー形式で行い、毎回２名程度の受講者が担当部分の内容を説明する。担当者は発表にあたり、充分な準備をしておくことが求められる。発表内容について、担当者以外の受講者も含めて質疑応答を行う。
This class is seminar-style. Each student prepare his/her presentation in advance and explain his/her part at the seminar. All students are encouraged to learn the same part and discuss with the presenter and all the other participants.
セミナーへの出席、発表内容とその理解度、セミナーへの取り組みをみて総合的に評価する。
Course grades will be based on the attendance to the seminar, the presentation in the seminar, and reports. The details will be explained at the beginning of the course.

セミナーでの発表内容を準備をするとともに、セミナーで生じた疑問や問題をセミナー後に解決する。
Preparation: Students are required to prepare his/her presentation in advance.
Review: Students are required to solve problems which arises in the seminar.
