Methodologies on physical cultural experiences

授業の目的と概要/Object and Summary of Class

本演習では、身体実践に関するエスノグラフィックな研究を中心に取り上げ、その方法論を整理し、可能性と限界とを考察、検討する。


The course focuses on examining methodologies of ethnographic works in the realm of physical cultural experiences and discusses their limitations and possibilities.

授業内容・方法と進度予定/Contents and progress schedule of the class

初回に指示する文献（社会学、人類学を中心とする英語文献）について、受講生がその整理検討と考察を発表する。
Each student will give presentations on materials proposed in the first class. The materials, in English, are picked from ethnographic works in the typical disciplines of sociology and/or anthropology.

成績評価方法/Evaluation method

出席参加（40%）、期末レポート（60%）
Participation (40%), Final paper (50%)
