教育政治学―基礎編
Politics of Education: Basic
教育政治に関する代表的研究と政治学の関連文献を学ぶ。ストリートレベルの官僚制論の理解を通じて、たとえば「（教育の）地方分権改革が、地方政治にどのような変容をもたらすのか？」「地方政府間で教育政策にはどのような相違が存在するのか、そして相違をもたらす要素は何か」という論点を扱う。
This course explains the politics of education, which is constructed of policy, election, political party, interest group, legislature, executive, bureaucracy, local government, street-level bureaucracy, and the teachers union.
教育政治についての基礎的文献を批判的に読解できる。
The purpose of this course is to help students review the essential articles on the politics of education.
英語文献から社会科学としての教育政治学に寄与する基礎的情報を析出できる。
The purpose of this course is to help students learn the essence of social sciences from English literature.

第1回授業開始時期：2024年4月9日（火）6限：18:00～
授業の実施方法：全ての回でオンラインのリアルタイム授業（ウェブ会議方式）。予習で関連資料・文献を読み、授業前日までにリアクションペーパーを提出し、授業を受講し、毎回フィードバックを送信し、復習でさらに関連資料・文献を読む。
関連資料の配布方法：全てGoogle Classroomで配布する。当該回の資料は前週月曜日23:59までにアップロードする。
オンライン授業への対応が困難な学生への対応：個別に担当教員に相談
東北大学BCPレベル2、1、0いずれの場合も同様の授業方法。

毎回、授業のテーマについてリアクションペーパーを用いたディスカッションを行う。

授業への貢献度（20%）、リアクションペーパー（40%）、期末レポート（40%）。
Class participation (20%), Reaction papers (40%), Review paper (40%).
リアクションペーパー（Reaction papers）は13回課され、最低でも10回の期限内提出が必要である。さもなければ成績評価の対象から外れる。
There are 13 weeks with reading assignments; students should post at least 10 reaction papers.
欠席3回に達した時点で評価の対象から外れる。
Every student is expected to attend this class regularly, but can be absent up to 3 times.
指定したテキスト等の該当箇所を読み予習してくること。これは全受講生にとって極めて重要なことである。
Every student is required to prepare for the assigned part of the designated textbook, papers, and books for each class.
リアクションペーパーを投稿すること。締め切りは授業の前日月曜日23:59である。
Every student is required to write a paper reacting to the week's reading assignment along with questions and post them on Google Classroom no later than 23:59 on the Monday before the class.
復習を必ず行うようにすること。
Every student is required to review for each class.
本授業を深く理解したい場合には、大学院設置基準（第15条）、大学設置基準（第21条）の規定に基づいた自己学習（予習復習等）を行うことを強く推奨する（１回あたり４時間程度が標準）。
Students are required to study at home for about four hours per class according to government guidelines.

教育政策科学コース博士課程前期及び他コース学生の「自由聴講」は認めない。
Students who are in the master course of the EPSA Program or other programs cannot audit.
