教育経済学の潮流:Trends in Economics of Education

授業の目的と概要/Object and Summary of Class

本特論では，①教育経済学の学問的性格，②その理論と方法の特質，③教育経済学の各研究領域における研究の展開と現状に理解し、実際のデータ・方法論を踏まえたうえで、教育がどのような経済的効果を有しているのか、教育の意義について考究する（以下のレビュー論文を前提としつつ、領域のキーとなる近年の論文に合わせて取り組む）。

In this class, we will understand (1) the academic character of economics of education, (2) the characteristics of its theory and methods, (3) the development and current state of research in each research area of economics of education.

学習の到達目標/Goal of study

受講学生は、専門的知識・技能という観点からは、教育経済学という学問の特徴と研究の現状を英文文献の読解に基づき理解し，経済学の視点から教育に関わる研究課題を設定、データ・方法論の選択などを行える力量を身に付ける．また、汎用的技能、態度志向性という観点からは、コミュニケーションスキル・数量的スキル・論理的思考力・自己管理力・批判的思考力、生涯学習力を向上させる。

Students can understand the characteristics of economics of education and the current state of research based on their reading of readings of economics of education.

成績評価方法/Evaluation method

授業内容についての理解とコミットメント（50%）・最終レポート（50%）による．ただし、出席状況によっては受験資格を喪失する．
