Introduction to Educational Testing and Measurement

授業の目的と概要/Object and Summary of Class

教育測定学に必要なとる数学および統計学の知識およびその活用方法について学ぶ。

The aim of this course is to learn the mathematical and statistical knowledge and its application necessary for educational measurement.

学習の到達目標/Goal of study

この授業では，次の２点を目標にします。
１．教育測定学で必須となる様々な事項について，その数学的な意味を理解できる。
２．初等統計学で扱われる内容について，数学的な意味まで理解することができる。

The goals of this course are to
1. be able to understand the mathematical meanings about topics in educational measurement.
2. be able to understand the mathematical meanings about topics in elementary statistics.

授業内容・方法と進度予定/Contents and progress schedule of the class

初回のオリエンテーションの後，以下の各講を２から３回の授業に分けて扱う。

第１講　初等統計学の基礎
第２講　確率・統計計算に必要な数学的知識
第３講　確率計算と確率変数
第４講　確率分布
第５講　仮説検定
第６講　分散分析
第７講　重回帰分析
第８講　因子分析


After the initial orientation, each of the following topics will be divided into two to three classes.

1. Fundamentals of Elementary Statistics
2. Mathematical knowledge necessary for probability and statistical calculations
3. Probability calculations and random variables
4. Probability distributions
5. Hypothesis testing
6. Analysis of variance
7. Multiple regression analysis
8. Factor Analysis

成績評価方法/Evaluation method

演習問題とショートレポートの提出。

Exercise problems and short reports.
