Methods and Analyses of Education Policy and Social Analysis Research Ⅰ

授業の目的と概要/Object and Summary of Class

　1年次生を対象に，修士論文の成果と反省の上にたって，博士論文の研究計画について全体の方向性を検討し，研究課題にそった発表と討論を通して，資料等を分析して表現する能力を高める。

　This seminar aims at enhancing research capacity of D1 students through various trainings, such as reflection of their Master Theses, discussion on the research proposal for dissertation, capacity of data analysis and capacity of making presentation.

学習の到達目標/Goal of study

１．研究計画の立案方法について学ぶ。
２．博士論文執筆に必要なデータ分析の手法について学ぶ。
３．研究の結果と研究目的、考察との関連性の記述方法について学ぶ。

The goals of this course are to learn
1. the way to make a research design
2. methods of data analysis on a doctoral thesis.
3. how to describe connected thesis through purpose, results, and discussion.

授業内容・方法と進度予定/Contents and progress schedule of the class

第1回～第15回　学生各自が自身の研究構想ないし，途中経過について報告し，自由討議を行う。さらに，討議の結果，構想ないし研究計画にどのような変更が加えられたかについて報告する。研究で得られたデータおよびその分析についても報告対象とし，これらについて議論を行う。

Each participant report on their own research concept or progress and discusses it. Then they report what changes have been made to their research plans as a result of the discussion. In addition, they report on their data and the results of their analysis.

成績評価方法/Evaluation method

発表および授業への参加・貢献により評価する。

Grading will be based on your presentation and a fraction of in-class contribution.

授業時間外学習/Preparation and Review

・研究構想の立案
・データ分析
・討議の準備（報告者によるレジュメ作成，受講者による質問準備等）を行う。
・討議の結果を研究構想・計画，論文等に反映させる。

The participants are expected to 1) make their own research plan; 2) analyze their data; 3) prepare for discussion; 11) reflect the results of discussion in their research ideas, plans, and research pepars.
