博物館教育の理論的展開と人々の学習・研究活動を支援する教育実践／Theory and Practice of Museum Education
資料である「モノ」と、利用者・学習者としての「人」とを、博物館という「場」はどのように結び付けることで教育機能を創出することができるのか。博物館は、設置規模や収蔵資料の種類、館が持つミッション・重点課題により、多様な在り方を持つ。こうした博物館は、どのように教育活動を捉えたり、市民の学習活動を支援したりするのか。博物館の教育機能についての考え方や特性について概観しながら、企画・実施・評価といった実践の展開について検討する。
How do museums enrich its role as an educational institution by connecting objects and people? How to have a clear vision of education and supporting to people's learning has become an increasingly important issues for museums and cultural polocy in Japan. We will understand the planning, practice, and evaluation of museums, while outlining the ideas and characteristics of museum education.
・博物館教育の基盤となる理論や、実践に関する方法論について理解する。
・博物館における教育活動を通じた人間形成・主体形成について理解を深める。
これらを通じて、受講生が、博物館について資料収集や研究の場としてのみならず、人々の地域学習の拠点として機能することが説明できるようになる。また、それを具体化するための考えやスキルを持つ。
To understand the basic theories and methodology of museum education. And also to understand human development at museum as educational institusion. This course helps students gain the perspective needed to review for the functions of museums, not only collections and exahabitions of properties but also community-based learning center for people. Students learn about the ideas and the skills to bring about the realization of that new point.

第2回 社会教育施設としての博物館 ：社会教育施設としての博物館の位置と役割について論じる
第3回 博物館の利用実態と利用者の博物館体験 ：博物館の教育機能について利用者の立場から検討する
第4回 博物館教育論史 ：日本における博物館教育論史について
第5回 博物館教育の特性(1) ：博物館教育の特性について、特に展示・事業を通じて論じる
第6回 博物館教育の特性(2) ：博物館教育の特性について、特に地域社会とのかかわりから論じる
第7回 博物館教育の方法(1) ：講座・講演会・参加体験などを通じた教育活動について
第8回 博物館教育の方法(2) ：学習・研究活動の支援を通じた教育活動について
第9回 博物館の分類別にみる教育活動 ：多様な分類をしながら、それぞれの教育活動について検証する
第10回 学校教育と博物館との連携 ：事例を通じながら学校教育と博物館教育の差異・連携について論じる
第11回 ボランティア・友の会 ：ボランティア・友の会への参加促進による教育活動について
第12回 地域の学習活動の場としての博物館 ：「地域博物館論」及びその活動について
第13回 地域づくりと博物館 ：博物館活動と地域社会とのダイナミクスの中から教育を考える
第14回 博物館教育における学芸員の役割 ：博物館教育を進める上で学芸員に求められることは何か
第15回 まとめ ：授業のふり返りを行う
【授業の方法・進度予定】
3日間の集中授業で行う。
講義を主とし、スライドや映像などを使用しながら進める。

・博物館の教育活動に携わるうえでの基本的な知識・力量を身につけることができたか。
・授業内容の理解およびそれに関する自身の関心や考えについて述べるよう、レポートを課す。
The evaluation will be based on whether the student has acquired the basic knowledge and skills that are needed to engage in educational activities at the museum.
Students will be required to write a report to show their understanding about this lecture and their own thoughts on it.
普段から博物館や文化財の見学に足を運び、その運営や活用について検討する。また、博物館をめぐる話題や議論について関心を持ち、自分なりの考えを持てるようにする。
Students are required to visit museums and cultural properties to consider their management and utilization. Also It is important for students to acquire preliminary
knowledge to prepare for class by reading relevant information and news that are commonly
available.
授業は8月20日～22日に実施予定。
毎回の終了時には授業に関するコメントシートを提出する。
This course will conduct from August 20ｔｈ to 22nd.
Students will be requested to complete the "Reflection Paper" at the end of the day.
