教育社会学概論 Introduction to Sociology of Education
本講義では，日本においては教育社会学の一領域・境界領域としても扱われてきた①教育経済学の学問的性格，②その理論と方法の特質について講述したのち，③教育経済学の各研究領域に即して概括的な説明をし、教育がどのような経済・社会的効果を有しているのか、そして教育の意義について、教育社会学的観点を踏まえて考究する。
In this lecture, students will learn: ① the academic character of economics of education, ② the characteristics of its theory and method, and ③ each research in economics of education. & sociology of education
受講学生は、専門的知識・技能という観点からは、教育社会学の一領域・境界領域としても扱われてきた教育経済学という学問の特徴と研究の現状を理解し，経済学の視点から教育に関わる研究課題をみずから設定できる力量を身に付ける．また、汎用的技能、態度志向性という観点からは、コミュニケーションスキル・数量的スキル・論理的思考力・自己管理力・批判的思考力、生涯学習力の必要性についての認識を深め、これらの能力を向上させる。
Students will understand the characteristics of the discipline of economics of education and sociology of education from the perspective of specialized knowledge and skills, and will acquire the ability to set research topics related to economics of education.
1・2回：教育経済学の誕生（The Birth of Economics of Education）
2・3回：教育経済学の基礎概念と方法（Basic Concepts and Methods of Economics of Educational）
4・5回：人的資本論（Human Capital Theory）
6・7回：シグナリング論（Signaling Theory）
8・9回：教育の投資収益率分析（ROI Analysis of Education）
10・11回：教育と健康（Education and Health）
12・13回：教育と階層（Education and Social Stratification）
14・15回：教育と能力主義（Education and Meritocracy）
授業各回ごとの小テスト（50%）・最終レポート（50%）による．ただし、出席状況によっては受験資格を喪失する。

予習・復習については授業内容や関連文献に基づいて具体的内容を指示する。
