心理専門職の国家資格である公認心理師の職責について、以下の8点を中心にその基本的枠組を学ぶ。
① 公認心理師の役割
② 公認心理師の法的義務及び倫理
③ 心理に関する支援を要する者等の安全の確保
④ 情報の適切な取扱い
⑤ 保健医療、福祉、教育、司法・犯罪、産業・労働の主要５分野における公認心理師の具体的な業務
⑥ 自己課題発見・解決能力
⑦ 生涯学習への準備
⑧ 多職種連携及び地域連携

① 公認心理師の役割について理解する。
② 公認心理師の法的義務を理解し、必要な倫理を身につける。
③ 心理に関する支援を要する者等の安全を最優先で確保し、常にその者中心の立場に立つ姿勢を身につける。
④ 守秘義務の重要性および、情報共有に関する問題について理解し、情報を適切に取扱うことができる姿勢を身につける。
⑤ 主要５分野における公認心理師の具体的な業務の内容について概説できる。
⑥ 自分の力で課題を発見し、自己学習によってそれを解決すべく、探究を進めるための能力を身につける。
⑦ 社会の変化を捉えながら、生涯にわたり自己研鑽を続ける意欲及び態度を身につける。
