教育の経済・社会的効果の計測/ Economic and Social Impacts of Education
本演習では，教育を通じて獲得されることが期待される人的資本・能力が実際に所得、健康、市民的関与、幸福などとどのように関係するのかについて、計量的データと多変量解析等を用いて、実証的に考究していく。
In this class, we will use quantitative data and multivariate analysis to examine how human capital and abilities expected to be acquired through education. And we will actually study the relationship between education and income, health, and citizen engagement.
受講学生は、専門的知識・技能という観点からは、教育経済学領域において用いられるデータや計量的手法の基礎について学び、計量的分析手法の基礎を身につける。また、汎用的技能、態度・志向性という観点からは、チームでの作業や演習形式の授業を通じて、コミュニケーションスキル・論理的思考力・自己管理力・批判的思考力、生涯学習力を向上させる。特に数量的スキルの向上に力点を置く。
Students learn data and quantitative methods used in the field of economics of education from the viewpoint of specialized knowledge and skills, and acquire quantitative analytical methods. In addition, from the viewpoint of general skills, communication skills, logical thinking skills, self-management skills, critical thinking skills, and lifelong learning skills are improved through team work and classroom exercises.
1～7回：基礎的統計手法とSPSSの使用法
8～10回：各種データ入手若しくは構築
11～14回：教育と所得、健康、市民的関与、幸福の関係についての分析演習（ただしテーマは個人の関心に応じて幅広く対応する予定である）
15回：報告会
1-7 times: Basic statistical methods and how to use SPSS
8 to 10 times: Constructing and obtaining data
11-14 times: Analytical exercises on the relationship between education and income, health, and citizen engagement
15 times: Report session
授業内容についての理解とコミットメント（70%）・最終レポート（30%）による．ただし、出席状況によっては受験資格を喪失する．
Quiz(50%)/Final Report(50%)
予習・復習については授業内容や関連文献に基づいて具体的内容を指示する。
