授業の目的と概要/Object and Summary of Class

恐怖からの自由、欠乏からの自由、尊厳ある人生を実現するヒューマンセキュリティー(人間の安全保障)を実現するために、その歴史、国際的な現状と枠組の総論について学び、ヒューマンセキュリティの視点からみた国際保健の現状、保健医療クラスターの役割を理解し、問題解決にむけて討論を行う。

To realize Human Security, i.e., freedom from fear, freedom from want, and freedom to live with dignity, students will learn its general concept, history, the current situation, and related frameworks and understand the current situation of global health, the role of health cluster and discuss on the problem solution.

# ヒューマンセキュリティの概念、歴史、関連する国際枠組を述べることができる。
# ヒューマンセキュリティとグローバルヘルスに関する用語を解説し、活用することができる。
# 健康とヒューマンセキュリティを脅かす因子を課題として抽出し、問題解決に向けた調査研究を計画することができる。
# 感染症、非感染性疾患、母子保健、高齢化などグローバルヘルスが直面する課題について説明することができる。
# クラスターアプローチと各クラスターの役割・協調について述べることができる。

# Describe the concept, history, and related international human security frameworks.
# Explain and use the standard terminology of human security and global health.
# Find the problems that threaten the health and human security, and plan the research projects for solutions.
# Describe the current situation and gaps of infectious disease, non-communicable disease, mother and child health, and aging that global health is facing.
# Describe the cluster approach and the roles and coordination of clusters.

成績評価方法/Evaluation method

Attendance, Interactive mini post-test, Active participation in group work and/or discussion.

Doctoral students must submit a research agenda using the designated form once in the semester. The form will be announced in the introduction and available at the Google Classroom.
