授業の目的と概要/Object and Summary of Class

手術と薬物療法に加えて、放射線療法はがん治療の3つの柱で重要な役割を果たします。 がん患者の高齢化とそれに伴う基礎疾患により、手術や抗がん剤が困難な症例が増えており、身体的負担の少ない放射線療法の需要が高まっています。 この講義では、がん患者に適切な放射線療法を提供することを目的とした放射線腫瘍学の基本的な知識を学びます。
/Along with surgery and drug therapy, radiation therapy plays an important role in the three pillars of cancer treatment. The aging of cancer patients and the accompanying underlying disease are increasing the number of cases in which surgery and anticancer drugs are difficult, and the demand for radiation therapy with less physical burden is increasing. In this lecture, students will learn the basic knowledge ofradiation oncology aiming for delivering adequate radiation therapy for cancer patients.

放射線治療の対象となる腫瘍についての理解を深め、適用される放射線治療の知識を習得します。
/To understand diseases to be treated with radiation therapy and acquire knowledge of adequate radiation therapy.

・良性疾患
・放射線治療に伴う放射線障害
/Lectures on the following will be held from October 4th (Fri). Details and changes of the lecture will be announced in need. It is important to prepare and review by home study.　・General remarks, ・Central nervous system, ・Head and Neck cancer, ・Esophageal cancer, ・Lung cancer, ・Breast cancer, ・Liver cancer, ・Biliary tract cancer, ・Pancreatic cancer, ・Bone and soft tissue tumors, ・Genitourinary cancer, ・Pediatric cancer, ・Hematologic malignancies,　・Nonmalignant disease, ・Side effects associated with radiation therapy

成績評価方法/Evaluation method

期末試験を重視し、授業への出席態度を総合的に勘案し評価します。
