東北大学は、東日本大震災において被災地の病院や避難所に多数の医療スタッフを派遣し、被災地医療の面で大きな社会貢献を果たしてきた。この震災において、実際に災害医療現場で診療に携わった医療人の経験は極めて貴重であり、その経験を教育現場に直接届けることは極めて有効であり、災害医療学の実践となる。そこで本科目では震災で医療に携わった医療人(医師･コメディカル)がその経験に基づく災害医療の講義を行う。また、災害･救急医療を専門とする外部講師を招聘し、系統的講義を実践する。さらに、東北大学に設置される災害科学国際研究所の医療災害研究部門と密接に連携し、高度で専門的な災害医療講義を行う。
Medical staff who treated sufferers from The Great East Japan Earthquake in the
hospitals attacked by the disaster, specialists for disaster/emergency medicine, and professors in the International Research Institute of Disaster Science will give lectures regarding Disaster Medicine. The aim of this subject is to develop the medical staff who can manage and respond to the medical problem caused by disaster
この実地的災害医療科目と専門的災害医療科目を組み合わた講義を受講することにより、災害医療に対応できる医療人としての知識を得る。
Ｂｙ receiving the series of lecture, the students obtain the knowledge which is necessary for the medical staff who can manage the medical problem caused by disaster.
上記のように東日本大震災において診療にあたった医療人による実践的講義と災害･救急医療の専門家･災害科学国際研究所の教官による専門的講義により、授業を進める。講義内容は、災害･救急医学、災害放射線学、災害感染症学、災害検査学、災害看護学、災害産婦人科学、災害精神学など幅広い領域をカバーする。
The lectures consist of disaster/emergency medicine, disaster-related infectious disease, radiation disaster medicine, clinical laboratory disaster medicine, disaster psychiatry, Disaster Obstetrics and Gynecology, and disaster nursing.
提出された講義内容に関する「ISTU受講レポート」の内容により、評価する。
