授業の目的と概要/Object and Summary of Class

医用情報技術科学の領域を専攻する学生を対象にして、当該領域の最新かつ重要な論文の抄読および自らのデータ提示・分析・検討などからなるセミナーを行う。
This seminar is mainly targeted for students majoring in the fundamental radiological science field. Students introduce the latest important articles in the field, report their own experimental results, and discuss with the attendees. The seminars will be held jointly and taught in groups so that students can acquire research techniques and knowledge.

学修の到達目標/Goal of study

医用情報技術科学領域の全教員が、それぞれの専門の立場から指導することで、理解の進捗を確認し、正確かつより高いレベルの理解に至るように広範な視点から集団指導する。課題に対して広範な視点から横断的に議論を深め、研究発表の手法ならびに研究者としての素養を身につけるよう指導する。
Discuss the issues from a broad perspective from a broad perspective, and acquire the presentation techniques and the basics.

授業内容・方法と進度予定/Contents and progress schedule of the class

セミナーは合同で行い、教員は各専門領域を分担担当する。
・医用画像・生体信号の知的処理（本間 経康）
・癌、血栓症、認知症、筋萎縮、糖尿病などのナノメディシン研究（権田 幸祐）
・MRI・CTなど、3次元医用画像の視覚情報処理（増谷 佳孝）
・ナノ材料を用いたがんの診断・治療技術開発（北村 成史）
The seminars are held jointly and the teachers are in charge of each specialized area.
・Intelligent processing for medical images and biological signals (Noriyasu Homma)
・Nanomedicine research of cancer, thrombosis, dementia, muscle atrophy, and diabetes (Kohsuke Gonda)
・Visual computing for 3D medical images including MRI and CT (Yoshitaka Masutani)
・Nanomaterial-based diagnosis and therapeutics of cancer (Narufumi Kitamura)

成績評価方法/Evaluation method

平常点を重視し、理解の程度を教員が面談して判定する。
Participation, presentations and class discussions will be evaluated.

授業時間外学修/Preparation and Review

主体的に講義内容に関連する情報や文献に触れることが期待されます。
It is expected to actively prepare for presentation at the seminar and collect information for discussion.

その他・備考/In Addition・Notes

毎回の授業の終わりにミニットペーパーを提出していただきます。
Students should submit a minute paper at the end of each lesson.
