授業の目的と概要/Object and Summary of Class

医学研究の計画と解析（医学研究方法論）について、実際の臨床・疫学研究を題材に生物統計学・医学統計学（biostatistics）を基礎から講義する。事前の知識は想定しないので、他講義と内容が若干重なる点は了承されたい。
To learn medical research methodology from a statistical perspective with examples of clinical and epidemiological research. No prior knowledge is required; hence, the contents are somewhat overlapped with other related lecture.

生物統計学の基本的な概念を習得する。
To understand statistical principle in medical research.

第5回：評価の信頼性と妥当性 Reliability and validity of evaluation
第6回：疫学研究概論 Types of epidemiologic study designs
第7回：臨床試験概論 Types of clinical trial designs
第8回：データの記述とグラフ表示 Ways to summarize data
第9回：統計的推測の基礎 Introduction to statistical inference
第10回：相関と回帰 Correlation and regression、群間比較 Two-Group comparison 、サンプルサイズ設計 Sample size calculation
第11回：交絡とその調整 Confounding and Coordination

成績評価方法/Evaluation method

出席状況（6割）、レポート（4割）により評価する。Attendance 60% and report 40%
